Kings’ bench nearly pulls off upset of Spurs

Amid the Kings’ injuries and lineup shuffling, the bench – the self-proclaimed Goon Squad – has taken on a new look.



The Spurs’ George Hill and the Kings’ Samuel Dalembert vie for a rebound in the second quarter. Rookie Pooh Jeter and
Jermaine Taylor came off the bench to lead Sacramento with 16 points each as the Kings suffered their fifth consecutive loss.

Cousins shut down late, has scary moment in Kings’ loss

Kings rookie DeMarcus Cousins said he usually doesn’t sleep well after a loss. That means he hasn’t had many good night’s rest on game days this season.

Kings lose in OT as Utah battles back

Portland pulls away in final three minutes to beat Kings 107-102

Once again, turnovers came back to hurt the Kings. Late-game execution continues to be a problem.

Kings commit too many fouls, turnovers in loss to Bobcats

Hours before Friday’s game, Kings coach Paul Westphal refuted any notion that the Charlotte Bobcats would be at a disadvantage with only eight players in uniform after their two trades Thursday.
