Mayor says he wants to keep the Kings in town but will not ‘be leveraged’

With a possible do-or-die deadline looming next week, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson said Tuesday he will do everything he can to keep the Sacramento Kings from leaving town, at least to a point.



Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson has increased the cost of security by having personal guards for more hours a week.
