Kings, Lakers fans unite in hopes of keeping team in Sacramento

Fans of the Sacramento Kings came out early tonight to make a stand for a home team that may leave and fight for a civic identity they fear losing forever.



Kenneth Williams and Stacey Petit of Roseville spent a few hundred dollars of Kings’s souvenirs and put them in their car before the game at Power Balance Pavilion on April 13, 2011 in Sacramento, Calif.

Sacramento Monarchs General Manager Jerry Reynolds responds to reporters questions at a July 9, 2003 press conference where he announced that head coach Maura McHugh was being replaced by John Whisenant who would serve as the interim head coach.

Reynolds, who has three managment duities for Maloof Sports and Entertainment is stepping down from his Monarchs post to concentrate on his efforts with the Sacramento Kings where he serves as director of player personnel and as a broadcaster.
